This £10k two-headed THX Ultra2 behemoth is Denon’s first AV component system for a decade, and could well be the most advanced and powerful home cinema system ever. Hand-built and designed for the most demanding of AV enthusiasts, it covers all the bases in terms of construction, format compatibility, network functions, multi-zoning and connectivity. Throw in 10 channels of 300W power and the result has to be heard to be believed. The system is able to handle everything from Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA to compressed audio; what’s more, it’s as beautiful as it is powerful. We think this duo will set standards for years to come. Just don’t drop them on your toe.
