At the event, the great and the good in the AV world will gather to learn exactly what products have been deemed the Best Buys of the past 12 months.
Foregoing the usual breed of corporate entertainers, the event has a history of presenters hailing from the world of film and TV. Past hosts have included Brian Blessed, Anthony (C-3PO) Daniels and Chris (Red Dwarf) Barrie.
This year’s host remains a closely guarded secret, although the proximity of the Awards event to the start of the new season of Doctor Who is not coincidence says Editor Steve May: “The entire team will be dressed as Cybermen for the presentation, so there’s no doubt about our theme this year. The show is being billed as journey through time and space – and The Mighty Boosh aren’t invited.”
